WbnRaMPt Horemheb was named Vizier after
the death of Yuya Amenhotep and his first action
was to coordinate a massive public funeral for Yuya.
He also held the post of King's Lector Priest and
was in control of all civil and religious authority
under Pharaoh.
He began the organization of Egypt, recreating and filling the posts of Governors, Nomarchs, Mayors, and High Priests. He later devised the concept of Virtual Egypt, a massive interlinked web site allowing visitors to "tour" Egypt, and was its chief architect. He was removed from office and the Vizierate abolished after several groups of disaffected Egyptians stirred up turmoil in the country. |
